Bundle of Fun

Welcome to my Paper Room!

I had so much FUN making this card with the Flower Patch Bundle!!!  Bundle?  Oh yeah!  A bundle is two amazing items that coordinate, that Stampin’ Up offers for a 15% discount!   I was playing with this set that I had just receiving before attending a 2 day cropping event with some friends.  I could not wait to get it out and play, and BOTH of my friends ended up ordering a set of their very own.  Yep, definitely a fun set!!  You can get the Flower Patch Stamp Set ($25.95), which is Photopolymer and SUCH a nice crisp clean image, along with the coordinating Flower Fair Framelits Dies ($24.95)!  When you order the bundle it is only $43.25!!

To make the two toned images in this set, there are so many options!  I used the same color on the leaves, Mossy Meadow, and stamped off for the background to remove some color.  I have seen some use two similar shades to create a similar effect.  On the Hello Honey flower shown, I was able to stamp right on it with a darker color to pull out the flower center with Tangelo Twist.  While I mostly played with our new In Colors, I definitely think the use of Melon Mambo added a necessary pop to the card!!  The great thing about this… so many options!!!!

See all the products listed below!   Hope you enjoyed my Bundle of Fun!!

I Love My Country!!

Happy Independence Day!!

Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain.

I love my Country, my flag, my freedom, and the colors that represent all of those things.   On a lighter note, I love our Work of Art Stamp Set in the 2014-15 Stampin’ Up Catalog, and making these cards that stand for a lot of my favorite things was so much fun!!!

Hope you enjoy, and I would love it if you would take a moment to comment and let me know which one is YOUR favorite!

I wish you and your family a very safe and happy Independence Day.

God Bless our freedom and our Country!

Blended Bliss

Welcome back to My Paper Room!

The long awaited release is finally here.

I made this card a couple of weeks ago, in anticipation of the release of the new Stampin’ Up Blendabilities.  Being a Copic Marker fan, I was hesitant about these.  However, I can honestly say I LOVE THEM!!!  They are an affordable way to enjoy our love of coloring as adults vs. the crayons we used as children.  AND… they do the color matching for you!  Each set, at $11.95,  includes three coordinating colors: a dark, medium, and light.  Let’s check out the card I made, and then I will share the product numbers and a bit more information.

This card was so much fun to make!!!  I used the first six Blendabilities sets that are available AS OF TODAY, July 1st, along with a few other items listed below.  Be sure to check out the bottom of the post for all of the SU goodies used on this card!!

Rich Razzleberry #131003, Coastal Cabana #131000, Cherry Cobbler #130995, Daffodil Delight #130998, Pumpkin Pie #130997, Old Olive #130999, Skin Tone Assortment #129370 ($22.95 for 6 markers), and the Color Lifter #129369 ($4.95).  We also recommend that you stamp your image to be colored with Memento Ink #132708 ($5.95).

Now… I need everyone’s help to meet my July goals.  Therefore, if you order these thru my SU website or directly thru me, I will be entering your name into a special drawing for EACH SET ORDERED!!!  For every $100 in orders that I get by end of the day on July 5th, I will be drawing one name for a $10 product credit to be used in later July with my Open House order.  If you order the six sets above, along with the the Skin Tone Assortment, you will get TEN entries!!!  However, you must order on my website, and use Hostess Code Z66MQ7XF, or email me at

Questioning how to use these, or a bit intimidated by them?  Check out this video, as well as other videos available thru YouTube.

My Adult Coloring Crayons

I am so excited about one of Stampin’ Ups newest products.  Unfortunately, they are expecting such a high demand that they have delayed release for a few weeks so that they are ready to meet that.   However, there is a way you can get yours now!!!  For the month of June you can sign up as a demonstrator for just $50!!!!

AND… you will get to order $55 worth of product that YOU choose, along with some business supplies.  As an added bonus, you get a Paper Pumpkin to try out as well.   We still have our regular sign up going on as well, which is $99 and includes $125 worth of product and some business supplies.  Is the not enough???  Well, you can also place an order of $150 or more and get a first time 30% discount.  Finally, you have NO further obligation to place another order, unless you are addicted like me.  You can stay in as a Hobby Consultant only, or even use this opportunity to put a few extra bucks in your pocket.

So, let’s talk again about those awesome Blendabilities that are not yet available to purchase, but can be ordered NOW by Demonstrators!!!  Here is a recent project I did with them, using our new Blended Bloom Stamp, and a few other new products.

See anything you like?  Want to take advantage of our sign up special?  I would love to talk to you!!

Here are the products that I used on this featured project.

Welcome Baby… and New Catalog!!

I am so excited about our new catalog that is available to order from beginning June 2nd!!!  However, I am just as excited about a friend’s new baby boy that they are expecting any day now.  I have the card ready and waiting, and made with the new catalog products!!  I remember being at the Catalog Premier and thinking I would likely not get this new stamp set, Something for Baby, but then they showed coordinating framelits and paper piercing.  One of my favorite things about Stampin’ Up is their product coordination, from paper to ribbon to ink, and from stamps to framelits to paper piercing.   This is also my first time using my Envelope Liner Framelits, and WOW!!  What a difference it makes on the final presentation, and such a simple addition.

I hope you enjoyed my first official Stampin’ Up product blog post.  Please tell me by leaving a comment below, and follow me for more creative fun.
